A cheezy and cheeky post

If I want to find someone who is rich, then I would not look at you. Because there is someone else who is richer than you. If I want to find someone who is smocking hot and as handsome as Adam Levine, then I shall operate myself to look like Behati Prisloo. If I want to find someone who is a genius, and spends all his time with books, I should sell all my makeups, buy more books and start reading, so we can date while talking about all those boring, non-fictional books. But you are just, you. And I am just, me.

You are a footballer, not a millionaire. You are Shahrul, my Shahrul, not Adam Levine. And I am, Mira, a typical girl who spends her money on makeups and foods and does not even have Behati Prisloo's body because I cannot stop eating. But I guess, that's why we fit together so well.

Dr Ko Skin Specialist

Have you ever felt embarrassed with yourself? I feel ya. I used to do my makeup at a darker place. Place that has insufficient lighting so I would not see the flaws of my skin- acnes, blackheads, whiteheads, deep scars and the list keeps growing.

Went to few other clinics before, some were not working and some were hard to maintain (I had to "ice" my face about 10 minutes, then had to place damp towel for another 15-30 minutes, everything). And mind you, getting help and products from a dermatologist is not cheap, so at least with the price, they should give products that are convenient- who has 30 minutes just to place damp towel on their face everyday? I take less than 5 minutes for my skin regime, and there are also days when I skip my moisturisers and sunblock. Not everyone has time to pamper their skin every single day.

So, last year I finally decided to go to.. *drum-rolls* Dr Ko Skin Specialist. Went to the branch at TTDI. My skin was not that bad, I did not suffer from any severe acnes, BUT, once in a month I got a few bumps here and there, and my face used to be so oily that I think MUAs got jealous of me because I did not need any face highlighter to get that glow.

For the first few months, I went to Dr Ko once a month, sometimes once in two months, back then I studied somewhere in Terengganu and I didn't come home as often. So for the very first visit, my doctor gave me 1 month supply of purple pills and antibiotics. If Im not mistaken, the purple medicine costs me around RM180, and the antibiotics is RM160 & I also bought the Purifying Cleanser Gel (still using it now). The cleanser leaves my skin smoother, and doesn't leave my skin feeling "tight", which is a big no-no. Another bonus of this cleanser is it removes waterproof makeup quite decent. Price for a bottle is RM190. But worry not, I used it for almost 6-7 months before buying a new one.

First picture in my blog- credit to my acnes, yay! And did I say my face was not that bad? I was joking.

It took me few months to be completely acne-free, but well they say, good things take time. I used to wear a few layers of foundation and concealer to "look and feel better", but my friends still complained about my acnes popping everywhere. Well well, now, guess who only wear mosturizer but still feel good? Will soon update my skin regime (Dr Ko Skincare products) and my very first experience with CO2 fractional laser. X
